Not a good experience at all
I ordered two items and paid for next day delivery. When the items didn’t turn up I phoned them. Good job I did. They sounded surprised they hadn’t turned up but then explained I’d ordered after the cut off time. Fair enough. I was assured they’d be delivered the next day.
On checking the tracking details the next day it showed that the courier company hadn’t even received the parcel from OB!
Was I told this when I phoned OB customer service? No I was told they’d definitely got my parcel but it was the courier company’s fault they hadn’t delivered it. I asked for a refund. Waiting on that. They said as an apology they’d send me a gift card. Waiting for that too however I’m not holding my breath as then I received an email from them informing me “sorry your items are out of stock”. So when I’m told bare faced lies I don’t tend to trust a company/person. A real shame, poor communication and dire organisation skills from a company I had really admired up until now. I hope they do better in the future.

Bad quality and bad service
extremely poor quality garments and poor customer service. Return submitted the day I received the order and it’s been 2+ months, items still not returned to them. I reached out for my refund and they couldn’t even locate the refund order on their own—I’m now dealing with PayPal to get my money back.
Prejudiced entitlement.
They promote the idea of being an inclusive company, even incorporating a CBT program into their training. But much like everything else with this company, it looks good on the surface, but it has no real value beyond that.
Look into their shops and decide for yourself, does the shop look racially diverse?
And this is only at lower level management, the higher up you get, the less inclusive you go.
You have a problem with mental health, you probably think, 'great they covered this in training, I will probably receive understanding and education', wrong. They will treat you with fear, reservation and like you are a pariah. Suddenly your honesty with such matters puts you in a position where you feel even worse and now you have made yourself vulnerable and Oliver Bonas simply look to plunge the knife in further.
I am not sure how a shop like this fits into modern times, but it certainly has no place on the average high street. I will be endeavouring to educate people in the matter until they are investigated and their sense of entitlement is challenged on a systematic level.

Used the Jesmond (Newcastle store) for…
Used the Jesmond (Newcastle store) for the first time yesterday. Very lovely young sales assistant helped me. Without asking her she described the fit of the particular dress and the exchange policy of the store. When I got home it was the perfect size. I bought the pink daisy floral dress. Beautiful dress and such good quality.
Thank you to the lovely sales assistant. I will defiantly go back.

Poor customer service
Let down by this company. They charge you for next day delivery but insist on using Evri who are notoriously bad at delivering on time. Contacted them three times on the due date but no-one would take responsibility. And they have no way of contacting Evro to chase them up. Next day delivery should be with a trusted company or with Royal Mail guarateed 24 hour delivery which has never let me down. I will not use this company again

Horrible service/ management
I went to the cribbs store with my bf to buy a bag with a credit note (which was weirdly emailed to me)
The lady at the till was very helpful , she tried to find out what is going on but then (I think it was the manager) came to sort the situation out ..she was extremely harsh and rude to us!!
We were very disappointed, I will never go back to that store again!

OB Blackheath
A couple weeks ago, I visited the Blackheath store on a Sunday morning during their Quiet Time. I appreciate they make efforts to accomodate for all kinds of customers, to be honest this time should last more than an hour!
The store staff was nice and helpful, they even got a dress out of a manequin since it was their only size 8. The dress is of great quality and great for warm weather. I'd shop at OB more often if it weren't for my budget, but it has easily become one of my favourite stores.

Bad Quality (Updated)
Bought a bag which was quite expensive for a simple crossbody tote, must have used it two or three times and the material is already peeling. The orange colour is now a beige where it's rubbed off. So disappointed. I expected better quality for £56.
UPDATE
I contacted customer services and they were really helpful. Sent the bag back free of charge and gave me a refund quickly :)

Racist recruitment! Avoid!!!!!
Applied for a job, later found out they hire based on “diversity, inclusivity and equality”, meaning they have a “diversity” quota of staff, meaning if there’s 10
white people who apply for a job, they’ll reject a % to go and recruit someone who fits their “quota”, bluntly it is racist recruitment. Disgraceful. Follow “woke” communist agendas and pay the price.

I really like this store
I really like this store! They always have the cutes dresses and the store staff seems eager to help me find the right pieces for me. Had some trouble ordering online once, but customer service answered quickly and helped me solve the problem. In general: a very nice store that I often recommend to friends and family.

Excellent Customer Service
An item was lost in transit by a terrible courier named for a Greek god, so I contacted customer services. They replied the next day, kept me informed and even offered to ship a replacement for me at no extra cost whilst the terrible courier 'investigates'. The items I received were great quality, I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you!

One female glasses wearing staff…
One female glasses wearing staff member in your Sheffield store , I think she’s management is always so rude. I’ve been in twice. The second time was to give her the benefit of the doubt incase she was just having a bad day the first time. Turns out she’s just rude. I may not always dress to the 9s but I should be valued as a customer just as much as those who do. I do not appreciate being be littled and spoken down too. I won’t be returning.
Products not worth the money!
I bought a £175 floor lamp in August last year but the marble base recently shattered due to the weight of the lamp. Oliver Bonas refused to replace the item as they wouldn’t acknowledge that this was a fault and felt that 9 months was a reasonable amount of time for an item of this price to last.

My fav shop ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the clothes and bags in particular. Quite high priced yet I always love what I buy here. Got my daughter shopping here too!
